Product Review: Crocodile Clamps

The Crocodile Clamps were what I picked as my birthday gift to myself. They came up for review and since my clamps got lost in the move from Boston, I was very excited. I thought I would prefer the Crocodile Clamps for several reasons. First of all, they are rubber tipped so I thought my nipple wouldn’t get pinched by painful metal when I use them. Also, the rubber is smooth, so it wouldn’t be too harsh on my sensitive nipple skin. Secondly, they are adjustable and while I can take quite a bit of pressure on my nipples, it’s something that I like to work up to. When I am not fully aroused, clamps can hurt a great deal if they are too tight. However, when I am sufficiently aroused, I can take them pretty much as tight as they will go. I figured that these would be great for me, as I could start with them on a looser setting and tighten them as my arousal increased. Plus, they can be used other places as well, like the labia or even ear lobes!

IHowever, I did not like these clamps much at all. I have small nipples (in both areola size and distance my nipple sticks out from my breast when hard), and this may have been part of the problem, but getting the clamps to stay on my nipples on any of the looser settings was nearly impossible. I could manage it while lying down, but as soon as I sat up, they slid right off. I don’t know if it was due to the looseness of the setting, the smooth rubber tip, my small nipples, or a combination of it all, but they would not stay put. The only setting I could get them to even remotely stay on was on the tightest setting, but then what’s the point of having adjustable clamps if only one setting works? Not only that, I found even the tightest setting to be too loose for me. I can take a lot of pressure on my nipples, and these just didn’t supply enough for me. And on top of those two problems, I found the screws to adjust the clamps difficult to turn.

They’re only $20, so if you’ve never tried clamps before, these might be a great place to start. I think these could be ideal for beginners or people that can’t handle too much pain, as they are adjustable and really don’t go extraordinarily tight. However, if you’ve never used clamps before but can handle a lot of biting and pinching on your nipples, these still may not be tight enough for you. But if these sound like something you or your partner would like, head on over to Babeland and pick some up!

I've never heard them called crocodile clamps before! Here they're called 'adjustable clamps'.

They look great on you, though!

You're killing me! The posts over the last few days have been great. Keep them coming! BTW, if you're not doing anything this weekend, my offer still stands. And I would be more than happy to help you get a healthy use of your clamps.

BDSM play in not something I have a lot of experience with but I really like this picture. I think it's very sexy and erotic. You have such lovely breasts.
