My mom and I have totally different taste in men. She likes tan, muscular, pretty men. I like husky, hairy, tattooed men (oh man. I just described Dude perfectly. *drool*). My phone broke the other day, and so we went to the AT&T store to have it replaced. The store was next to a Gold’s Gym and my mom was drooling at all the men walking in and out.
Mom: “Look at all the hunky men around here!”
Me: “Yeah, Mom, but that’s not really my idea of ‘hunky.’”
Mom: “Oh, yeah, I forgot. You like CHUNKY.”
Thanks, Mom, but I prefer to call them “husky.”

Oh dear. I really don’t have a type. the guys I’ve been with have spanned the spectrum from blond-haired blue-eyed Mormon, to bisexual bear. The biggest requirement is “not a total and complete toolbag”, so how someone looks isn’t terribly important to me.
Oh, I’ve dated all over the spectrum, too. Profligacy was slim, tan, muscular, and hairless. The opposite of what I’ve described! I ultimately don’t care what people look like, either, but on first glance, I’m gonna notice the dark haired, husky, tattooed guy every time.
Your “blond-haired blue-eyed Mormon” comment made LOL since that could describe my partner now (though his hair is closer to brown now that we live in Utah where the sun disappears for more than half the year). I just love that this red-haired heathen snatched up a golden boy.

I’m the opposite of you and your mom. I think part of it is because I’m chunky, but I like guys that are slim (NOT muscular). I think a difference in body type is more…comfortable in bed. lol
And your mom couldn’t just agree to disagree on your tastes in men? She had to go insult guys we find perfectly attractive? I should show you pictures of Boy – he’s not tattooed (yet) but definitely meets the hairy and husky criteria. I loves me a guy who can handle me without me being afraid of breaking him.
