“I can see myself in the movies
With my picture in the city lights
Photograph, my mind and whatever else
You’d like to shoot you decide
All we care about is pornographic girls
On film and body plastic
Give me something I wanna see
Television and hot blondes in odd positions.”
-Lady Gaga, The Fame
People can say all they want that Lady Gaga is crazy, has no talent, or that her music is fluff, but that right there is a profound statement on our values as a society, what people are willing to do for fame, and the kinds of women that we are told are beautiful and ideal.

I have never heard of Lady gaga so I can't comment on her but I will say raising a girl/female/woman child I try to very particular about things I say or things she hears and try to explain to her these same things that LG is saying.

Gaga is nuts but I don't think that is a BAD thing. She is good at self-promotion, which I respect, and I like her music. Unexpected depth is a bonus
Also – I totally downloaded one of these pictures too, when I was lookig for my new avatar
