After Jesus’ confession the other night, I asked if we could keep Narcan in the house. I’ve got it in the bathroom now, but I need to find a new place to keep it because I feel sick every time I see it.

Not a comment, more of a question. How do you keep Narcan? I mean is it something prescribed? Please excuse my ignorance. I use Narcan all of the time in my job, but I wasn’t aware that it can be obtained by the public.
You know, I’m not sure. I took it from my work, but when I mentioned it to Jesus, he actually had some on him, too. I don’t know where he got it, but I’ll find out.
Narcan isn’t something the public has access too. It’s an EMS/hospital only sort of drug. Um…admitting to stealing it publicly is not the best idea.
Almost every addict that I know has it in their homes.
I only asked because I was wondering if it was something that was provided by a clinic or a rehab facility or something. Certainly if you can get it, it’s wise to have it available.
I asked him and apparently in Mass you can get it at the needle exchange and they train you how to use it. He said it became legal for public access here a few years back.
That totally makes sense to me.
