I have been coveting a toy from Tantus‘ Alumina series for what seems like forever. All the pictures of them look absolutely gorgeous, and I’m a huge fan of dildos made from hard materials. I already had glass dildos, wood dildos, and stainless steel dildos; I wanted to try an aluminum dildo. And so, Fascinations awesomely sent me the Alumina Revolve to try. Let me start by saying that pictures do not do these toys justice. They are absolutely stunning, which you can tell in pictures, but what you can’t tell is just *how* stunning.
The toy comes in a beautiful, sleek black box that’s unlike any of Tantus’ other packaging. It sits among black foam like a precious jewel. It really is beautiful. The aluminum definitely has some heft to it, but it’s noticeably lighter than stainless steel. It’s smooth and sleek and cool to the touch. The o-ring in the middle is there because you can unscrew the two ends from each other, and mix and match them with other toys in the Alumina series. Since I don’t have any other Alumina toys (*hint hint*), I couldn’t make my own combination, but the two parts unscrew easily from each other and screw back on tightly.
The toy is 8 1/4 inches long, and is made from “aeronautic grade aluminum.” I don’t know what that means, but it sounds AWESOME and makes me think of airplanes. So, how is it in use? I love this toy. The graduated end is nice, but really, that’s all. Nice. But the other end, with the single ball? Oh, HELLO G-SPOT. The hard material and pronounced ball on the end of the toy make it perfect for finding your g-spot. The aluminum warms to your body quickly, and not just the end that’s inserted; you can feel the heat down the whole length of the toy. It inserts and thrusts smoothly, and the heft is perfect. It definitely feels different from any of the other materials I’ve used, as well.
Cleaning couldn’t be easier, and you can use whatever kind of lube you want with this toy. I can’t emphasize enough how beautiful this toy is, and I’ve definitely got my eye on the Alumina Motion now. You can get this beautiful toy, as long as many others, at Fascinations!

I have this toy too, but it hasn’t impressed me yet. What am I doing wrong???
I just use the end with the one ball on it to thrust upwards towards my g-spot. That’s what works for me.
How wide is this toy at it’s widest part? What is the diameter?
The third ball on the graduated end is 1 3/8 in diameter, and the ball on the single end is 1 1/8 in diameter.
Question: does yours have a shiny finish or a matte finish? Mine is matte (got it a while ago) but I saw a video review recently with a shiny one. I’m just curious if Tantus made a switch with the finishes.
Mine looks pretty shiny.
