I have a question for fellow Hitachi owners. Does the black padding inside the cap cover, I don’t know, shed (for lack of a better word)? Both of the wands that I have owned have shed something that looks like a black powder from inside the cap. And lots of it. When I took the cover off the head of the toy to examine further, I realized that it was the padding that lines the cover that is creating the mess. And it isn’t just a little bit; there is a very large amount of this stuff. Does this happen to anyone else and if so, does anyone know how I can prevent it? Right now all I can do is remove the cap when it starts happening and clean it out.

Hmm… I'm not a Hitachi owner (I'm a guy), but if you demonstrate how you use it for me so I can see this shedding problem first hand, I might be able to help.
I'm pretty good with electronics.
