I had to go take my comp exam at 9:00 this morning. My comp exam is the comprehensive test of everything I’ve learned in my entire two year Masters program that I have to pass in order to receive my degree. Since I don’t know how to do “roll-out-of-bed-and-go” style, I went in this.
I am wearing:
- Blue t-shirt with white bubbles from Target
- “Acid washed” skinny jeans from Target
- Red belt from my brother’s high school baseball uniform
- Red wedges by Colin Stewart
- Red necklace, gift from BFF
- White necklace, from Claire’s
- Assorted plastic bangles, white, red, and clear with glitter
- Red headband with large bow from Forever 21
It was windy as hell, and then sun was at an odd place in the sky, so the majority of the pictures I took came out way too blindingly bright, no matter where I stood or what angle I placed the camera at. But I really dig this outfit.
It’s totally comfy (jeans and a tee), and the shoes aren’t killer (wedges are easy to walk in and don’t hurt my feet). Plus, the color combo is fun and unexpected. For the record, I finished my 150-question test in 45 minutes. Yes, I was the first one done. And yes, I think I aced it.

You look fantastic. BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THAT TEST! I believe in you!
You look great and I just LOVE your shoes. I know what your saying about not doing the ""roll-out-of-bed-and-go". It doesn't matter wear I'm going I always have to find something that looks good.
Anyway you look HOT as always and I hope you did great on the test.
Kara XOXOXO
You look ready to kick that comp's ass!
Congrats! I know how hellish they can be – I had three in my program.
Good luck.
That second picture makes you look straight gangsta bitch! =)
Kick ass with those sexy shoes!
I love the shoes and wish you all the best on the comps, isn't it nice to have 2 year's worth of work and study and effort wrapped up in one test….?
And like the others have said, the outfit rocks!
You look great! And by the way…you love bangles, don't you? lol. I couldn't pull them off the way you do, but I just notice in a lot of your outfits that you love bracelets and wearing them in fun, creative ways…especially big chunky bangles.
What. No thesis to write for your MA? Hell, I thought they only did that when I went to Temple for an MA in '76 (that's 1976, smartie).
Hope you aced it.
Now what are you going to do with your life?

This is very BUST magazine fashion – I love it! Thanks for breaking down your outfit for your readers – it's fun to spy on that level.
