A while back, I posted using a postcard from PostSecret (that’s a lot of “posts”!) that said, “We accept the love we think we deserve.” It really, really spoke to me and I have been thinking of having the words tattooed on me somewhere. I think it is beautiful and so true, and uplifting as well.

Awhile back you posted a card that said “We accept the love we deserve.”
It hit me so hard I decided to get a tattoo of it. . . And now I have a constant reminder for times when I feel weak.

EDIT: This is the second time this week that someone has beaten me to a tattoo that I wanted. The Promo Homo just got the equality symbol from the Human Rights Campaign tattooed behind her ear after the protests against Prop 8 yesterday. I have been planning on having this tattooed on me somewhere for quite a while. TPH, I guess we will have to have matching tats. It’s not like it would the first time that it happened to you!

It is a very thought provoking tattoo.
I'm totally fine with you having the same tattoo as me! This is not one of my most original tattoos, obviously, but I thought it was important to have.
Now I feel empowered and SUPER DUPER gay. Haha.
I agree that that is totally awesome. I also love the moons tattoo idea. HOLY SHIT I NEED TO GET A NEW TATTOO!
loving the equality tattoo.. nice spot too, behind the ear. i've been wanting a tattoo just there.
