I went on a date with a guy that I met while getting my phone fixed a few weeks ago. He seemed really nice and we had hung out two or three times. He invited me to dinner, and I accepted. The problem is that I am currently unemployed and my parents give me money every week (yes, I am on a weekly allowance from my parents. Ha ha ha. It’s like I’m 14 all over again). I spent more money than anticipated this weekend and only had $20 to get me to Friday.
Now, I don’t expect people to pay for me all the time. However, usually, the person that asks for the date pays for the date, especially when you just start hanging out with someone. But just to be on the safe side, I ordered caesar salad and a diet coke, so I would be able to pay for whatever I ordered.
When the time came to pay the tab, I offered my twenty. Not only did he accept my money, but he did not give me ANY change. I paid $20 for caesar salad and a diet coke. I guess I shouldn’t care because he pulled my chair out for me before I sat down? Because, really, chivalry is nowhere near dead.

Chivalry isn't dead. Maybe it just had to pay a cover charge to get into that restaurant, and your boy had to cover him.
Chivalry's a broke bitch.
