I’ve told cabbies to “turn that shit off”… once in New York City for Rush Limbaugh and once in Cincinnati for Bill Cunningham, who is funnier but just as crazy.

Both times I got a glare in the rear-view mirror but they did turn it off… however, now that I am older and a little calmer, I would probably not say “shit” and add “please”.

Overslept this morning, because, as I mentioned, didn't get much sleep. Spent half hour on the phone with the school psychologist after dropping my son off at school. That was followed up with conversation with his psycho-pharm to discuss med changes. At this point I was already a hour late for work. Luckily I work only a mile from home so once I got showered I was only about an hour and a half late and in no state to be dealing with the typical office crap. Luckily there was no bloodshed today, but it was touch-and-go for a while there. I hope your day got better.
