Like Sa said, you just moved and stuff. Don’t let it make you nuts.
All writers hit a point of creativity block some time. Just don’t obsess about it and let it do it’s thing. It will just flow at will at some point. the “fluff” as you call it just lets us know you are there. Some blogs I check on tend to have huge gaps between posts, but that’s no biggie. The “fluff” posts let us know you are there.
Just crazy out of left field stuff in between isn’t bad and sometimes makes things fun. I particularly liked the one about bacony goodness. (Mmmm…bacon….. BTW: What did you think of the bacon turtle burger thing I sent?)
Stumble upon some topic that’s just cool and run with it. Maybe go to a strip club, enjoy yourself, and report in some detail. Go see the Sox with a bunch of peeps. Wander through an art museum. Visit Boston Lighthouse. Hit up Provincetown with some friends. Fly a kite. Something like that. Crazy inspiration can be where you least expect it to be.

I’ve found it does wonders for clearing all of my pipes from cranium to vaginal.

I started mine as a rant space. Sometimes, I’ve got nothing to rant about, so I neglect it.

Then, sometimes, some of us are reading your blog but not commenting. It’s, I duno, kind of the Abe Lincoln approach (It’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool that to speak and remove all doubt??).

Whatever, I like your blog, and the fluff is OK too.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, eh? I’ve definitely had some slow blog periods, and I find it’s best to just let inspiration flow when it flows. I know it gets to feeling like a weird kind of obligation to keep up the blog, even if it’s just an obligation to yourself, but we all get blocked now and then. I hope you’re having an awesome time in Boston, and I’ll look forward to continuing to read both the fluff and the great, smart posts in the future.
