To make it easier to remove the cap, I would totally recommend using a thin layer of (decent, thick) dishsoap around the inside, last 1/4 inch or so. Make it a pretty thin layer and definitely test it in your hand to make sure it won't come off too easily, but it should be fine.

I used to have a hammer drill with a silicone sleeve (hand grip) that occasionally needed to be removed to repair the chuck. After taking it off the first time and having to get a new one (I will admit I got cranky and cut it off), a friend suggested it. While there is no question that the Hitachi has some serious oomph, believe me, it doesn't begin to compare to the vibrations of cutting a three inch hole in concrete with a hammer drill.

I would also like to say that I appreciate the dishwasher suggestion, as that was something I was completely unaware of. Not that I share my toys mind, but I do get paranoid about germs...

Love the turquoise, terrified by the naked Hitachi head. Looks like something out of Terminator.

Ha, I totally used a Hitachi tonight with this on it. (But in black, not turquoise.) I think you're right the ridges would be funny for actually touching genitals with, but what my top did tonight was use them to hold the Hitachi into a rope harness he'd hooked through my legs. It stayed in really well and sent the vibes right through my crotch. So I definitely approve of this toy!

That's good. :D Thanks! I like my gspot attachment from jollies too much to try taking the cap off! lmao. I wouldn't want to risk it!

I solely use this, but the original cap didn't rip when I removed it.

Huh, I didn't realize that you had to actually take the cap off and it's not just a cover for the cap [although the name now makes sense!]. I've heard that taking the cap off of the hitachi can rip/harm the original cap, have you used the original cap since, or do you solely use this now?
