When it comes to clitoral stimulation, I am the same way. When I use any vibrator, it is not placed directly on my clit but rather to the side or just above. Growing up, before I ever owned a toy, I always masturbated by grinding myself against a large, flat object. Most common was a pillow that I could squeeze between my legs.
