Naming it "Polyamory" doesn't do that. Plus, it was designed to be for only 2 players. I mean, the website has other "sexy games" that don't revolve around monogamy, so it's not like they're just promoting a monogamy-is-the-only-way agenda or anything. I think the namers/marketers would just be a clever ploy to catch people's attention.
