Jess,
Your absolutely right. My kids and Britni are are what make it all worth figuring out. At times I don't think it is the job at all. Maybe just a symptom of the other issues. I hope you man is happy where he is at now. With you at his side he is sure to get that Mojo back soon.

James,
Thanks, that book is good but I am notoriously susceptible to sales jobs :) There are probably other good books like it out there. Sorry to hear you are having the same issue. I take some comfort in knowing it is not an uncommon thing.

Outstanding and thought provoking. Over the last year I have been dealing with a similar situation in my own life. It is a day to day, sometimes hour to hour, effort to focus and make life better. On the job and at home. In all of my relationships. I will check out the book. Sounds like it has good information.

Hey doll,
while I don't know the specifics of your job/ life changes, I can tell you that my husband was in a similar position at one point. He took a position with a different company that paid a lot more and he regretted it immediately. It took a toll on him and Us as a couple. In the end, he left the job because it just wasn't him. But oddly enough, when he left, it took a toll too because he felt selfish for turning down an upgrade to our lifestyle. The point? I guess my point is to find your happiness....if it isn't your job, focus on what is: Your kids, Britni, Your writing, etc.
Take care of yourself :)
